Process optimization: Process optimization is the discipline of adjusting a process so as to optimize some specified set of parameters without violating some constraint. The most common goals are minimizing cost, maximizing throughput, and/or efficiency. When optimizing a process, the goal is to maximize one or more of the process specifications, while keeping all others within their constraints.

Continuing Education Credits for
Water Plant Operators

AquaSummit is offering continuing credit hours approved by the GA State Board of Examiners for Certification of Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators & Laboratory Analysts.

Topics Covered:

Optimizing Coagulation With Streaming Current Measurement

CE-4-W-0413-AQUA-013114-0004 (4CEUs)

Filter Optimization Using Particle Counters

CE-1-W-0413-AQUA-013114-0003 (4CEUs)

Online Chlorine Monitoring for Disinfection Control and Regulatory Compliance

CE-4-W-WW-0413-AQUA-013114-0002 (6CEUs)

Operators will learn how to optimize the water treatment process using each of these technologies. Courses are taught using classroom discussions and hands-on laboratory experience.

Cost per Class is $950.00 for up to 15 operators

The class commences at 8:00 AM and concludes at 5:00PM.  Each attendee completing the course will receive a certificate that will apply toward their license renewal. To schedule a Technical Training Program at your facility, please contact

Our extensive experience with Streaming Current and Particle Detection technology in water treatment processes can increase the skill and confidence of your operators through practical, hands-on training.
